Maria Pardo Saleme has almost 20 years’ experience in investment banking, where she carried out a number of assignments in risk and derivatives modelling, later specialising in providing corporate finance advice to public and private companies at BNP Paribas. From 2015, she headed the equity capital markets teams for the Iberian region, with whom she led a number of strategic projects (IPOs, share capital increases, equity financing and share sales). From 2020, she contributed to the creation and launch of BNP Paribas’ EMEA private fundraising advisory business dedicated to innovative companies.

Maria is fluent in five languages, has a degree in engineering from ENSTA Paris and is a member of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris. She also holds a Master’s degree in Modelling and Mathematical Methods in Economics from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
